Nobuya

Opening in December 2023, NOBUYA is the first restaurant in Milan by the Japanese chef of the same name, Niimori Nobuya. It quickly became a real destination and was an immediate success, writing a new chapter in the history of oriental cuisine in Italy.
A high-end restaurant conceived as “the home of two cultures,” a place to bring together Japanese technical excellence with the best of Italian ingredients, combining the gastronomic heritages of the two countries and thus breathing new life into the traditions of both.

Grassi + Partners, with a long experience in launching highly successful adresses (including DRY Cocktails & Pizza, Langosteria, Pisacco, Toscanino, Zazà Ramen etc. ), guided NOBUYA's debut through an integrated communication strategy aimed at identififying it as a new destination of authentic excellence in the city's food scene.
After a careful market analysis, we defined a positioning that would enhance the originality and quality of NOBUYA's culinary proposals and helped develop a brand identity and storytelling focused on the chef's personal story, shared between Italy and Japan combined with the sophistication of a visual identity that would suggest it without stereotypes.

Press office activities, through direct contacts and targeted invitations, were key to obtaining extensive media coverage in prominent publications not only in the food sector but also lifestyle, travel and design. In parallel, we launched a selected digital PR campaign involving authoritative influencers and relevant KOLs, amplifying the visibility of the restaurant through dedicated content.

The intervention of Grassi + Partners allowed NOBUYA to rapidly consolidate as one of the most talked about fine dining restaurants in Milan and made chef Niimori Nobuya a leading voice in the field of oriental cuisine in Italy.
