The Lanesborough

The Lanesborough London – classically British service in a remarkably refined and charming grand residence.

Dining at Céleste is one of the greatest pleasures London has to offer.

The setting is sensational: a richly decorated dining room naturally illuminated during daylight hours by a domed glass roof and in the evening by spectacular hanging chandeliers. Bas-relief friezes and fluted columns underline the classical grandeur. It is a scene that transforms constantly throughout the day. As the light changes, so do the guests; from breakfast time to lunch to afternoon tea and dinner, it’s a beautiful and fascinating spectacle.

The cuisine is no less captivating. Chef Patron at The Lanesborough, Eric Frechon – Paris’ most esteemed three Michelin-starred chef – has brought his protégé, Florian Favario to London to lead the hotel into a new culinary era. As executive chef, Florian brings five years’ experience as Eric’s chef at Le Bristol in Paris, and international influences inspired by his travels to add to his generous, rigorous gourmet cuisine.  At Céleste, he brings creativity to the table using the finest British ingredients. The restaurant includes one semi private dining room seating up to 12, which can be closed or open to the main room, and two wine-tasting rooms offering an impressive array of wines, many available by the glass.
